How to Enter:
Contestants can enter the Contest through the Shenandoah Air Conditioning and Heating website and are eligible to receive one (1) Mitsubishi Electric Heating & Air Conditioning system/unit including standard installation and manufacturer warranties and free one-time installation from Shenandoah Air Conditioning and Heating
Submission Period:
Visit Shenandoah Air Conditioning and Heating’s website and follow the instructions to submit an entry for the Mitsubishi Electric system. All participants that meet the criteria may also enter at the home show in Martinsburg WV on April 6th & 7th for a double entry. One submission per customer/entry is allowed for the drawing. The submission period is open from Friday, March 1, 2024, at 12:01 a.m. EST to Sunday, April 7, 2024, at 11:00 p.m. EST. Shenandoah Air Conditioning and Heating, in its sole and exclusive discretion, will determine eligibility of each submission to determine the list of no more than one finalists/winner of the drawing.
Winner will be selected in a random drawing and once a winner is picked he or she will have to give proof based on the following criteria, which requires a photograph of the entry person, proof of military service, proof of permanent residency in designated geographical areas, and availability to be interviewed by Shenandoah Air Conditioning and Heating to determine condition and location of current HVAC unit or furnace.
There will be one (1) Grand Prize winner and the winner will be announced on the Shenandoah Air Conditioning and Heating’s Facebook page on Friday, April 19, 2024. The winner will be chosen by Shenandoah Air Conditioning and Heating.
Shenandoah Air Conditioning and Heating reserves the right to extend, shorten, or terminate the Contest at their sole discretion. Finalists are required to give Shenandoah Air Conditioning and Heating ample opportunities and access to physically inspect the home HVAC unit or furnace, including internal and external systems, to determine if Shenandoah Air Conditioning and Heating has the technical ability and legal authority to safely replace the unit without undue burden or cost exceeding $10,000. Finalists may be disqualified if their homes have poorly maintained or dangerous environments that could hinder proper and safe removal, installation, and performance of the new unit which include, but are not limited to, unsafe conditions of the property or its inhabitants, including unrestricted pets, faulty electrical or gas systems, poorly maintained duct work and/or systems work, and other technical issues.
If no finalists meet all the requirements, Shenandoah Air Conditioning and Heating reserves the right to forgo selecting a winner at the Company’s discretion.
Winner Selection & Prizes
For Shenandoah Air Conditioning and Heating “Veterans Giveaway” promotion, Shenandoah Air Conditioning and Heating will award one (1) Grand Prize to one (1) winner after the drawing. The Heat pump unit or system will be installed according to the availability of the winner and Shenandoah Air Conditioning and Heating after the conclusion of the contest any time after Friday, April 19, 2024. The winner is eligible to receive one (1) Mitsubishi Electric Heating & air conditioning system/unit.

Shenandoah Air Conditioning and Heating makes no representations or warranties, express or implied as to fitness for particular purpose, no service or duct work is included as part of the Grand prize.
Participants do not need to be present to win, and the winner will be contacted in person, via phone or email. In the event the winner cannot be reached and/or does not respond within a 72-hour period of time from the time of initial outreach, they forfeit the prize and the next candidate shall receive the prize. This selection process will continue until a winner claims the prize. In the event that no winners claim the prize pursuant to the rules and regulations (including but not limited to any and all eligibility requirements), the grand prize will be donated to a nonprofit of Shenandoah Air Conditioning and Heating‘s choice.
Terms and conditions may apply. Incidental expenses and all other costs and expenses which are not specifically listed as part of a prize in these Official Rules and which may be associated with the award, acceptance, receipt and use of all or any portion of the awarded prize are solely the responsibility of the respective prize winner. Maintenance, repairs or installation of duct work, or anything else that’s not part of the initial installation is not included and subject to an additional fee. Additional expenses include, but are not limited to, repairs needed on the home’s gas/electrical system to update it to current requirements as listed by the state and federal government, expenses to replace eroded connection systems, damage occurred to poorly maintained connecting systems, expenses to repair damaged walls. ALL FEDERAL, STATE AND LOCAL TAXES ASSOCIATED WITH THE RECEIPT OR USE OF ANY PRIZE IS SOLELY THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE WINNER.
ADDITIONAL LIMITATIONS – Prize is non-transferable. No substitution or cash equivalent of prizes is permitted.
Indemnification and Limitation of Liability
By entering the Contest, each entrant agrees to indemnify, release and hold harmless Shenandoah Air Conditioning and Heating, the Facebook platform, administrator, advertising and promotional agencies, and all their respective officers, directors, employees, representatives and agents from any liability, damages, losses or injury resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from that entrant’s participation in the Contest, the rights of publicity associated therewith, and the acceptance, use or misuse of any prize that may be won. Shenandoah Air Conditioning and Heating disclaims any liability for damage to any computer system resulting from access to or the download of information or materials connected with the Contest.
Taxes
Subject to IRS and other tax reporting. Each winner is solely responsible for reporting and paying any and all applicable taxes related to the prize(s) and paying any expenses associated with any prize which are not specifically provided for in the official rules. Each winner must provide the Company with valid identification and a valid taxpayer identification number or social security number, in the manner provided and/or requested by the Company, before any prize is awarded. Any person winning over $600 in prizes from the Company will receive an IRS Form 1099 after the end of the calendar year and a copy of such form will be filed with the IRS.
